Cinden has more than 20 years’ experience as a communications professional.
Her love of writing led to an early career in radio and television journalism before she moved into marketing and public relations in the private sector.
Cinden then worked in government communications for more than seven years before launching her own business in 2000.
Cinden has managed small and large communications teams including in-house graphic design and web services, as well as contractors and consultants.
During her career, Cinden has gained a reputation for providing:

Cinden’s experience includes:
- Consulting—managing her own successful business for over 10 years, providing consistently high quality communications services to government and private sector clients.
- Government—managing and delivering the full range of communications advice and services for a key government department and two national cultural institutions.
- Private sector—advising on media and public affairs for a national professional association and handling public relations for a national charity.
- Journalism—researching, writing and producing radio and television news.
Qualifications
A member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the Canberra Society of Editors, Cinden has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing (majoring in Journalism) and has also studied for an Advanced Certificate in Marketing.
